  • Limoges is about an hour away, local hospital is only 10 minutes. Charlie finishes school today for 2 weeks as well, not sure if that is better or worse.

Have a lot of faith in the hospital though, they do seem to be doing everything they can and he has lots of doctors and nurses checking  him every 10 or 15 minutes so at least he is not just stuck on a trolley in a corridor waiting to be seen like some horror stories you hear. Trying not to panic, they know what they are doing and he isn't in any pain which make me feel better - I think. Sat at home waiting is horrible though, not as bad as him sat in a bed all wired up. I need to get my head around explaining this to Charlie after school too without worrying him. We were all expecting him to be home by now.

    Morning all.

Big hugs to DD and more for OH.

Gosh guys. What a reaction to coconut oil image

If you've got a good tan, coconut oil is a wonderful moisturiser which stops the skin drying out.

"our" beach in Goa was so quiet we could have nobody beside us for over 1/2 a mile on one side and more than 2 miles on the other side.

Steve tgv, you've got a smutty mind image

The weekend is just moments away.

Hubby plus chum should arrive around 7pm so I have a  day of pottering and posting to do before they arrive.

DD especially for you a big Bushman bearhug. Thinking of you and oh.

  • Aw bless you, rest up if you can to keep your strenght up. So sorry meant to send love and hugs for Charlie too, you have all been through so much lately....life can be unkind at times xxx

  • Thank you all, Bushman I could get used to all these big bear hugs. image

I am going to do some baking now, there is an important meeting tonight about school fundraising and I have promised I would bring some cheese straws so that's exactly what I'm going to do, no use moping around, might even get some washing dry on the line, although it is a bit chilly, sunny though, maybe. image

Will keep you all up to date, I'm sure he'll be fine, he is a big strong man, perhaps a bit too big, that's probably what's caused all the trouble. image

Hi What Verdun said was fine. I should've put my brain in gear. More coffee should've been taken. Can we drop it now? I'm sure that would suit Snow image. I'm in Costa now, waiting for bus home so on phone.

How irritating lily, it's been ages that your PMs don't work. I could give you my email address if I knew how. Maybe one of the other forkers could act as a go-between?

DD, if you need any practical help, today, tomorrow or Sunday afternoon then let me know.

I must get outside and do something, instead of sitting in the kitchen. But it was -4° and frosty this morning and only 3° at midday when I went to the Post Office. Sunny, though.
