    Morning all.

Sunny here at the mo, but forecast not as good as yesterday. Glorious sunny day in the garden we had our lunch out there but got a little chilly by 7ish.

Must get my knitting finished too in case Dil is earlyimage although if its a hot summer baby won't need a blanket lol.

Only seen one or two lady birds here and that was a few weeks ago.

Have a lovely day at DD Lizzie. DD hope the day goes well. I'm sure your garden looks beautiful.

Fairy hope you find your camera, is it too far to retrace your steps. x

    Have a good day everyone.

Back againimage Just had freshly picked blueberries on my porridgeimage ...what a treatimageimage.  OH netted them this year - which means I can wait til they are perfectly ripe without losing them to the blackbirdsimage

    Morning all!  image

Hard luck re camera, Fairy.  image  Your day sounds amazing though!

Not a lot of ladybirds here, though one tried to get in through the upstairs bedroom window yesterday.  Hope we'll see more butterflies too, if the warm weather continues as forecast.  Plenty of bees about though, enjoying my Rosa moyesii and then visiting the raspberry flowers nearby; there are community beehives in my town and the inhabitants seem to have discovered my garden.  image

SGL, I'm currently knitting a jumper for my younger granddaughter which is a size too big, in the hope it'll be finished by Christmas...  image

Damp this morning so I'm taking time off from the garden to pack for my trip to our cottage in Scotland.  (More decorating required, more brambles to remove, and we have a two-and-a-half week gap in our bookings.)  Though it's entirely the wrong time of year to leave the garden here, I will be entrusting it (with trepidation) to the tender care of my non-green-fingered OH.  image  However, he does love strawberries, raspberries, salad veg and sugar peas, which are the things most likely to need attention while I'm away, and I'll take him by the hand and show him the way to the water butt before I leave on Tuesday...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Lovely chicky - I have them on my porridge too but have never grown them. I suppose I should as we have the ideal conditions here for them image

lily - I trudged back up the hill a bit, but frankly - all rocks and tussocks of rough grass look the same (no path) and I'd already been out long enough by then and it's a two hour drive home. I've been debating getting a new camera so I suppose it's forced my hand. image

Feeling very idle but refuse to feel guilty  imageimage

Just been looking at Peter Nyssen site after seeing it mentioned on another thread. Think I've earmarked about sixty quid's worth already image

We have loads ladybirds but this morning s amusement has been the woodpecker chicks, sliding up and down the clothes pole bathing in the birdbath and generally enjoying life. image
