Verdun - you're not alone.  We did have some sunshine todayimage.  Rb I am pacing myself and hope the weather lasts till oh says he'll help tomorrow afternoonimage.  He really wants to help but things get in the wayimage.  Shouldn't moan at all 'cos he's great here when I go to Mum and Dads'.  It looks a lot better after I've been back a day or two thoughimage.  Still love himimage.

    Good morning all image

We too seem to have had a little shower overnight and now it's brightening up.

I'm so excited - we had supper on the terrace yesterday evening and I noticed that our runner beans are flowering!  I'm sure they're earlier than in other years, and yet we've had such a cold spring.  We're growing White Lady this year.

Wonky has loads of ladybird larvae on her Mermaid rose - literally hundreds of them!  That's where they all are image

Oh, another shower - perhaps the sun is a little way off yet image OH has just popped outside to fold up the seats on the terrace.

A ladybird landed on me on Thursday when I was sitting in a friend's garden in the village.

I think France is about 3 weeks ahead of England. My roses are finished now and we have been eating runner beans for the last week. I have a glut of courgettes, 3 plants and the raspberries have been amazing.  They are on their way out now.
