    Cheers Dovefromabove  and Busy-Lizzie....... enjoy the rest of your weekends .....just off to have our Carbonara with local forest mushrooms ...I know you should not play with classic dishes ....but the local mushrooms are to die for.....and a glass of Soave ....ahh weekend bliss image

    The carbonara I ate in Italy was made with wild mushrooms from the pasture and woodlands - doesn't come much more authentic or classic than that image

    Had a lovely lunch with sils and nieces in Edinburgh So we've decided to do it more oftenimage.

    Ahh 4thPanda , love pavlova .....do you know the great history of this wonderful desert  named after one of the greatest ballerinas of all time Anna Matveyevna Pavlova ....look it up very interesting .... enjoy image
