GWRS - hope you have as lovely a holiday as we've just had
Hello Lyn It was lovely to meet you and your OH - what an interesting chap
In the end we didn't do any garden visiting well, how could we want more after our visit to Hosta's lovely place
The weather was so lovely we spent loads of time on the beach - exploring beautiful deserted little coves with rockpools full of seaweeds, sea anemones, crabs, shrimps, shellfish of all sorts and even some little fish. We went for a few walks (not as many as we'd intended) and we had a lovely day in Marazion and went to a performance of Much Ado at the Minack theatre, did a bit of shopping, looked at art, ate out lots and lazed in the sun lots
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Am I right in saying Lyn's OH is a stonemason? We had a young girl in the workshop the other day who is doing restoration work. Lovely to see young people keeping that kind of work going.
Took youngest fairy over to a friend's for a sleepover half an hour ago - only 10 degrees outside , but the most beautiful moon in a clear sky
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I would have thought that would be green cheese. Everyone knows that. I was once trying to convince a chinese friend of that and she wouldn't have it. someone else came into the room and I said "what's the moon made of" "cheese" came the instant answer. She had to believe me then!

Are you sure it's the same one? What colour's your's?
It's dead spooky here. It comes up behind the trees like the opening of a horror movie and I have very little light pollution and It's great!
Apparently there's a supermoon eclipse on Sunday night/Monday morning and it makes the moon reddish in colour
Ours is bright and white just now.

I'd like to stay awake for that but it won't happen. I will be sorry to miss it though.

I know I know...of what is the moon made?
Mine is made of cheese too Runny
Is it wrong that I wanted Wales to win by the end
Oh fairygirl I thought it was last night and had missed it
must have drifted off when Brian (Peter pan) Cox was telling us about it
I am not Runny, although Ma and Pa and OH are Scottish. . . . . .
Am does up on anti inflamatories and off to bed shortly (have been putting it off for fear of the pain) Nighty night
