Hi Forkers. I've only had time to skim read as just back from Cheshire. Dove it sounds as though you had a lovely holiday and plenty of relaxation and the finer things in life.
Panda glad to hear that you managed to get some sleep. Sounds very painful. Keep resting.
Pat I'm glad your OH didn't have to deal with anything bigger. He's a hero. Hole the docs soon get to the bottom of your problems and that you will soon feel much better.
I've just been out doing a bit of deadheading and despairing about the state of the garden. I left Mum and Dad weeded and tidy but their's is only quarter the size of ours and they don't have brambles and creeping buttercups. Ah well, I've got all Autumn and winter to have a wee think. Perhaps a bit of work wouldn't hurt either
Hope you've enjoyed the walk on this lovely day Fairy ((hugs)).
Rb it sounds as though you have a lovely day planned. People watching is great entertainment. I must have a mean streak because before Christmas OH and I went shopping in Edinburgh and, as usual, started with a coffee in a corner coffee shop to escape the light rain. A lot of people were walking up the hill carrying umbrellas but the gale force wind caught them on the corner and the umbrellas turned inside out. We tried not to laugh but the looks on their faces made it irresistible. Not many locals try using an umbrella
Hello all - home from the hill and having a cuppa and a catch up before a shower
Short day, very cloudy from half way Lesley and it cleared when I was on the way back down....you gotta love the timing of the Scottish weather
Good walk though. Cloud came in and out so I got some pix, mostly on the way back down, but would've been nice to get a clearer day for the views. Lots of crags, exposure and a steep ascent, but a good path and no wind....no jokes please
Lesley - it's cruel - but you're right - it's hard not to laugh!
Verd - keep up love - we were talking about the supermoon last night on 'ere
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Hello, back from holiday today. Would have liked it to be longer but 8 animals to market tomorrow. We have been shut down again for TB. We have had an inconclusive reactor, which means that he will have to be retested 60 days after his last test. The animals that are going to market go to a special TB market and are all moved under licence.
The garden is looking very autumnal, and now needs a good tidy up, so busy doing the washing tonight to hang out tomorrow and then on to the garden while this lovely weather lasts.
Hope you are feeling better Panda, and glad you had a good holiday Dove. Everyone have a good evening.

Runny, trust the Daily Mail (spit) to get it wrong again - it wasn't Aiden and Eleanor embracing on the beach http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Poldark-mania-Beverley-actress-Eleanor-Tomlinson/story-27868666-detail/story.html
