  • Fortunately our neighbour does have regular carers going in - getting him up and putting him to bed and attending to his meals etc several times throughout the day so if he was poorly it wouldn't be long before he was visited, and he has an alarm so he can summon help if needed.  It's just I have that Miss Marple tendency, and I notice when things are out of the normal run of things.  image

Morning all. I ha a bad night, was still awake at 2.20am, feeling cold. But room temp. and duvet were the same as usual, just couldn't get warm, put cardi and thick socks on and a blanket on duvet. Eventually slept only to be woken by dog wanting a wee at 6am, he usually waits until 8am.

    Good morning all, evening Patimage

Clari I hope all goes as well as it can today. ((Hugs))

It seems as though lots of people are having trouble sleeping at the moment.  I'm having a better spell just now and have stayed in bed instead of getting up when I wake.  I think the fact it's so cold makes me snuggle down again.

I once 'phoned the Police with concerns over a neighbour who hadn't been seen around for a couple of days and our ndn was worried about him.  The top window was open and curtains hadn't been moved.  It turned out that he had gone away for a few days and forgot to tell anybodyimage.  Ah well - better safe than sorryimage.

We are going into Edinburgh later this afternoon to see the Christmas market and a new Street of Light installation on the Royal Mile.  Wish the forcast was better but my coat's got a hood.

  • BL - take some paracetamol and some honey and hot lemon, wrap yourself up and take it easy - it sounds as if you've got a chill.  ((hugs))
