sun is out and very warm here already so no "hw" getting done . Just looked and have lots of flowers on Tomatoe plants and one baby tomatoe already on one . Fresh strawberries later with ice-cream as i have quite a few berries just begging to be picked.
It is raining - hurrah! I have planted a little bit of box hedging, some pots, about a dozen plants and reseeded a goodly bit of lawn edging and this will give them a good watering in. The first time it has rained here for a few weeks!

Housework this morning, planting pots on kitchen terrace this afternoon and talking to the plumbers in between. They've nearly finished. Coming back to re-connect an outside tap tomorrow. Was going to do some watering on the flower garden side but it's that tap. Also used for filling horses' water so very important.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Dove I can and do drive when I am on my own, but I don't enjoy it. OH loves driving, he has been driving ever since he was old enough. He is a terrible passenger. though. It works well for us.
If it works for you that's great sorry, wasn't meaning to sound bossy
KEF - there ought to be some sort of award!
And I've noticed Wonky giving occasional snippets of advice! The girl's coming on
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Any rain in Kent tonight will be due to my planting today
Got an especially ugly patch of border dealt with today, you know the type of area where the plants are well past their best but since they're not quite dead, you leave the expense for another day. Looks lovely now although the salvias in my own garden are no where near as far along, I still think it will work in future years.
Caught the sun again today, despite my application of suncream, trouble with that stuff is it only lasts 20-30 mins at high noon but I tend to let two hours slide by before reapplying. Luckily I never burn, just don't want to risk the C word
Kef, think we got the rent of child detention box sorted, my friend brought his son over today to try it out for size! half way through half term, he will be banging the door down soon, especially as I gave his boy sweeties! commission is a sure thing!
Dove hope grandma womble is OK, which ever reality she's in, hope its a happy one!
Been busy in the garden again!
Thought papa womble was gonna suck his breath and tell me how ishoukld have made the planter Liri, like you said, he normally would, but he was really impressed! So much so he gave me a hand doing more! And he hates gardening!!!!

Hi all
Guess we have all been in the garden (or at work

Would like it noted that I have correctly identified a plant
2nd time in 2 and
1/2 years
Wonky how much do you reckon my commission will be

Lizzie I so hope it gets sorted tomorrow and isn't too costly, wish it hadn't happened when your OH is away
Hogweed we have some light rain at the minute in S. Yorks but doesn't appear to be doing much, I had the hose on my veg bed yesterday.
