Re my post yesterday "2 men came to read the water meter and they said I will have a big bill as there is a leak. Can't find it, must be under the concrete floor in the corridor to the boiler room where the water comes in to the house. Plumber coming tomorrow."
Plumber has come, confirmed leak. Going to put in above ground poly wotsit pipe and cut off old copper underground pipe.

Pauline - been there, done that ... then I went to art school as a mature student - I got my driving confidence back by driving loads of 18 year old lads around Ipswich with them navigating - they knew which lane I should be in etc 'cos they were all learning or had just learned to drive But BSM do a refresher course for people who don't drive much or who've lost confidence - have a look at it. Might be fun to do it
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

No sun for us today, but high cloud - ideal for garden tidying I think. Need to leave it spick & span ready for hols on Monday.
