I,m enjoying Chelsea but not seen anything different yet. I love the gardens with the big rocks and cow parsley and grasses.
Fairy, my brother did go to Lochnagar and said that they saw a big dog at the top of the plateau obviously lost and panicking. It ran towards them and then took off before they could catch him. the next day they walked along the Pass of Larigh Ghru.
Mmm... Chatsworth? Not too far from here for me to get there too! Any ideas on dates? Would be great to meet some of you there.
I've been to Chatsworth, but ages ago, when I was at horticultural college. Is it there they have an artificial tree which rains on you if you stand under it? Or am I thinking of somewhere else...
Cleaned all the corners in the kitchen which normally get a lick and a promise (as my granny would have said), now waiting for the rain to ease enough to let me run to see Mum.
Not seen any Chelsea programmes yet. Maybe I'll catch them on i-player - and I can see today's, anyway.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Have had a little read back but really way too busy and stressed to spend any longer at the computer.
Clari, you are sounding very positive and upbeat about your hearing, super attitude and can only bring good things.
Matty, safe journey home, so nice to meet you in person.
Wish I could join you all for a trip to Chatsworth, have some very happy memories from there, a really good bonding day out with my sister who was about 9 months pregnant at the time, her daughter is 15 now and unfortunately we no longer speak. Happy Days though., beautiful place.
Am seriously stressed here about so many tasks, just don't know where to start and can feel the garden growing up around me too. Trying to write a list in priority order so get to feel I have a bit of control. List is bit too long already though.
Did have a nice (but busy) evening last night; family of guests arrived and wanted dinner, they forgot to book and were tired out from travelling so I sorted them out. Over dinner though the man told me of his love of gardening and the fact he had been featured on GW twice. Very knowledgeable and interesting. Beechwell House sub tropical style garden near Bristol if anyone remembers it. He is also a very talented artist as well, such a lovely family. Best thing about the B&B is all these interesting people you meet. I******g, now beckoning, not quite the best thing about B&B-ing.
Have a good day everyone and I hope the rain stays away.

Mrs garden, was it the golden Lamium? or the silver leaved lamium (beacon silver).
Yes, Liri, Chatsworth has the artificial tree, but the water wasn't running last time I went.
Yes, I think we should have a mid week visit. End of next week or is that too soon for everyone?
Thanks FB, it'sthe Lamium. I love both of them.
Can do a Chatsworth visit on Tiesdays or weekends.
I'm in Dublin next week
Otherwise would love to come (friendly transporting Forkers permitting
) Have a lovely time there
