Vet has been, he's pleased with Archie's progress, but it will take at least 3 weeks to heal. Friend will come and wash wound and put the stuff on it every 3 days while we are away.
I hope Charlie has a good party.
I must go and prepare for going away.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
They've been talking about the situation on Jeremy Vine just now. Quite fascinating. People who are willing to take in, and already have taken in, refugees. Hosta - my thoughts exactly when they talk about those poor souls fleeing persecution. Have we forgotten that horrific period of history? I can answer my own question because apparently they no longer want to teach children about the second World War in school history lessons.....
Not sure about special moments with the girls - I'm hoping youngest fairy will take more than pyjamas in her suitcase.....
I'll sneak a trip in to do Ben Wyvis doc. It's not far away. We plan to visit the Glenfinnan viaduct as the girls are both mad Harry Potter fans. There's two Munros further along there.....hmm...that may not go down well
Lovely foxgloves chicky. I got some large plugs of Pam's Choice and Snow Thimble and they grew very quickly, filling 3" pots in a few weeks at this time of year.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Have a lovely time in Taormina Lizzie - it's amazing. Glad you have a friend who's able to administer medication to Archie. I'm sure he'll be fine.
DD, if there's room for one more at the party ........
Just been watching the news again and this situation is so depressing. Human made disasters always take an interminable time whereas a natural disaster, eg earthquake, would have had aid from all these countries within hours
Hi Rb, do you mean transferring them to your iPad or from the iPad onto here? To be honest I wouldn't know how to solve either but I know a man who might.
How are you today anyway, apart from being frustrated?
I really must go and clean the bathroom - I've put it off long enough.
