Good luck to all exam takers in the chicky and MrsG household.
DD, I don't know how you do it either. A regular whirlwind.
Bekkie and Winter the starlings are a mixed blessing. Very noisy, and messy with all the calling cards over the windows, patio, car etc. and we seem to have them nesting in all four corners of the house. If they are becoming rare nobody told our locals.
Verdun can we swop weather for a few days please? We've got a cold wind today.
It's not actually an allergy - it's just the pollen that has caused my sinuses to clog - oilseed rape has very large pollen grains - can't take decongestants 'cos of my other meds so will inhale some steam!

Look at you - using gardening analogies
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I know Dove! Realised the pun after submitting! Naff but not bad for the morning
Hope the steam does the trick! X
It'll remind you to pinch out those dahlias

Morning all.
Hard day yesterday so allowed myself a cuppa in bed this morning.
This is the newly planted bed with lots of dahlias and cannas. Those at the front are the cannas I grew from seed earlier this year.
No photo of ducklings as I was too busy in tunnels to go find them. I'll see how to-day pans out.
I hope all are well.
re Chelsea challenge: why do folk assume they can give up their job and " do a course" and POOF , they're garden designers?
I was in professional horticulture for over 30 years and I'm still learning.
