Busy lIzzie, what  variety of butternut squashes are you growing. ? Last time I tried they were a dismal failure, but now I have a really good sunny spot for them, and a delivery of FYM on the way.

  • Thanks for finding and posting the pictures. I know I live with the fairies sometimes, but this proves I wasn't making it up . By the way the boy is 6ft 3 inches tall, in his socks. Honest.

Just been watching Country File, obviously heard of Giant Knot Weed and huge problems, never seen it before. Heck, my big sympathies to anyone who is trying to get rid of it.

Knot weed crumble...if it can't be chemically destroyed I don't think it'd be on my menu.

Bet Cinderella could take all her mates home in that pumpkin.image

Hope it's not raining next Sunday. You lot are prolific posters. While I was away for lunch and a trip to the GC. Bought a katja apple tree on M26 rootstock. What size will that grow to?
