  • Hello all... I hope you are all well and getting into the festive swing of things.... I have been sooooo busy it's daft! Work has been manic an decorating and cooking and oh loads of stuff! Went to Savill garden today to see Santa with lo but as the garden was free to walk round we went for a bimble. I haven't been I to it before cause I felt it was a little expensive but I have to say even though not much is around ATM I was very impressed. The dogwoods looked spectacular against the grey sky! And the gunnera tents as they had been cut down looked amazing.... Chicky a huge huge thank you for putting me onto the great garden revival I love it and an already planning on stripping the front lawn which is mostly moss( I hope that means it's sandy!) and planting wild flowers .... Go him chicken chassuer to make xx

    Hello everyone,

Torrential rain here for most of the day, and it has been very dark, we have needed house lights on all day, have now switched these off and put on the Christmas tree lights,.......very festive, image

Now where's my mince pie? image were they all eaten this morning?image

  • I've made a few pots of Nigella's cranberry mincemeat, but I haven't got around to making any pies today - sorry Gilly image  Got a chilli bubbling away on the hob for later if anyone's interested?

Our tree is up but it's not decorated yet - I'll do that tomorrow - putting my feet up now after my expedition yesterday - will look at the To Do lists and the Buy Now and Buy Later lists and see if I've got everything covered.  My son has just told me that he's hoping for bread sauce and cranberry sauce, even if we're having goose.

  • Hello all, has been a windy day and wet here today have been out filling up compost bin had a quick look around the garden saw a few shoots still some plants in flower then back in as getting wetter

Verdun - do like how the stipa gigantea made it so you had to go around the grass to see what is behind there, it would be nice to get some of that grass some where in the garden just thinking where

Time for a cup of tea
