Have a good sleepover dove, my son was meant to have a sleepover at grandmas but instead she's having one here! No gardening done due to running about after the two of them!
It is amazing at this time of year how rapidly the garden changes. I have been away on and off for about 4 days and everything is different.
Honesty and Doronicum flowering, look lovely together, late daffs are out [ Cheerfullness? ] and the tulips are in full sway, Princess Irene and Ballerina looking particularly good. Seems strange to think we were flooded in February.
Must go and cook tea.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
OH now laying in a dark room with big glass of red! Maybe more needed.
I've felt a bit overwhelmed last few weeks with stuff I want & need to do here & what I have to do at M's. So discussing trying to get the replacement GH, transport, new glass etc' in time for my crops..I just couldn't see it happening, Began to wonder if it was worth doing some of them
OH has said forget replacement GH. He will tidy rest of mess up for elderly lady and will buy me a GH that I want. He will buy, not us, he will buy as the wooden rotten one was a previous pressie.
Great, talked about size and how he'd remove flags and extend area and lay concrete base & agreed he'd like greeen colour which I want, & number of vents, windows etc.. Then he had heart failure, appears OH doesn't read adds in GW mag.
Me thinks I will be eating a lot of pasta (OH's fav) for quite a while.

Must, must, must start weeding my garden. It's getting a little bonkers.
Anyone want to help?
On another note, found this little red flower in the garden, is it a geum?
