I've got OH's birthday on 19/12 and son's on 22/12 to think about first!

Will get a little brutal with sacateurs today I think cut back a lot of the perennials and tidy up the border.... Will try and convince the oh to get the mower out for a final cut as the grass is suffering already laid down and a little muddy where it has been walke on and oh heck yes clear the stepping stones as they are lethal ATM..... Wow beat I pour another coffee and get a wriggle on a lot to do... Laters peeps have a good day all

We are going to Bluewater next week on our way South from Stansted airport. I've never been. OH is dreading it!

He took dog for his walk this morning, absolutrly tipped down after they'd left. I didn't go because the cough has turned into a cold, bunged up nose, yuk!

Do the English still have fireworks on 5th Nov.? Or is it now the nearest Saturday? We moved here (France) in 1985 so out of date with various things.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all.

BL fireworks can be a week either side of 5Nov these days! We were advised no fires last Friday as fire service striking. Loads last night though. This is the first year in ages we haven't had a big bonfire party with literally hindreds of pounds worth of firwworks, you can easily spend £30 or  more on ONE firework!

Off to take son for swimming lesson soon, then a garden day I hope.

    Enjoy your day everyone.

  • All fireworks on the 5th this year will be in celebration of my retirement!!!  image

  • Morning all, lovely sunny day here, hope it lasts all day.

Fireworks here can lastseveral days, we had some near us friday, and last night. There will probably be more on the fifth and also next weekend. Main events are usually the nearest sat. Someone near us usually has them new years eve/day. I love watching them image
