Lily how come you keep getting all the rain can you send a bit my way please, but I only want it overnight. Now girls I wont be around tomorrow Im going with second born to Malvern Spa for the day where I will be swimming, lying around and pampering myself with a full body massage and facial, then it will be lunch followed by another dip in the pool, it will be a tough day but somebodys gotta do it. So no gardening for me tomorrow, but I bet I will still be watering when I come home.
A neighbour gave me some Italian beetroot today (unless he was pulling my leg) it tastes exactly like normal beetroot but is a delicate shade of pink, very pretty it went down a treat with my salmon salad.
If I had a glass of wine handy I'd toast everyone who is currently looking after their parents but as someone said in a previous post at least we still have them. Cheers
Little hedgeehog who went to hedghog hospital on Friday,died on sunday night.
Work has had internet down for a week, because of storms last weekend. 300m of cable have been replaced, and we're waiting for a man to plug it in at the exchange
The amount of aggro,because stuff has been loaded on to the internet at one end, and we cant download at this end, is unbelievable. Tomorrow I might go down the exchange and plug it in myself. Apparently we are "Not priority" When I asked for compensation for a weeks lack of service, , the man who is "managing our expectations" said he would escalate the problem to a manager. Sod the manager, find a telecoms engineer. Grrrr.
