You snuck in Verdun! Heard youhad a good day in the garden
Did you see I have dug up seven clumps of astrantia in anticipation if we move! I have put in pots of John innes two so fingers crossed! What do you reckon my chances are of them surviving?
BM, as long as you gve them a little tlc when they wake up in the spring I should think your astrantias will be fine. As with all plants in pots, try not to let the pots freeze solid.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Some good gardening speakers for me to look forward to next year - Raymond Evison talking about his clematis, plus Bob Flowerdew and Stephen Lacey - so I'm a happy chicky
Chicky the talks for next year sound great and I know you'll enjoy them.
So glad you're feeling better Beaus - I've tried to say that twice in the last couple of days but the computer wouldn't let me. I tried a couple of posts yesterday but after all my laborious typing they just disappeared into the ether. Must admit I was very unPC
Have a good holiday Lizzie - not sure if you're starting off today or tomorrow.
