I don't do that sort of anniversary either - prefer to remember birthdays or even just random times and events.
I'm at home today and not visiting Ma - she's in the amazing care of the staff at The Lovely Home - brother may visit tomorrow and we'll both see her on Thursday.

Dove - a poor taxi driver was pushed by a speeding motorist who forgot that roundabouts also applied to him into our building on Sunday morning. He struck the grade two listed building just 15 yards from where the same thing happened a few months ago. He was lucky not to have flipped the car truth it told.
This is the 5th such incident in five years and unsurprisingly the education team are going to be drafting some letters to the council, Look North, and anyone else who will listen as so far the council have shown no interest (waiting until a child is killed perhaps?) As the roundabout is awful (and driving standards are shocking!)

Morning all. Very windy here : surveyed some of the damage but decided to come back to bed instead. His lordship and dog both still snoring away.
Hoping we've not had any more incidents at work: the car through the door on Sunday is more than enough for this week thank you.

I hope no one has any serious damage to their home or garden.
Don't think anything serious here but we do have blossom all over the patio
and it hasn't come from my garden or immediate neighbours.
