Look after that knee Hosta - not fair of work to grumble and put pressure on you.  If the doc is getting cross you'd better listen - tell work toimage

Had a bit of a potter, pulled out a few weeds, deadheaded a few pinks, cut back some poppies and hauled up some alliumsimage.  Loads of weeds if you look closely, but the overall impression is good .....so I will have to start going out without my lenses inimage

Gave the new GW mag a good reading too.  Making the most of my last day of freedom.  Will see you all back on the early shift again tomorrowimage

Lyn, I've had the little critters in the tunnels . I think I need to meet someone with a gun. I'll just look the other way and let them get on with it.

or " lampers" as I believe they're called.

I'm sure lots of folk will hate me now, but if they're eaten afterwards, it's win win.

Hosta - as someone who has had 'a knee' for quite a few years now - look after it!!!  I didn't look after mine image

Lyn, doesn't anyone go ferreting around your way?  that's the best way to deal with them image

Lily Pilly - can you remember your Lismorean-washing-machine-technician's name?  There was a pair of twins born on the island, probably about 25 years ago.  But they lived there full time - name MacDougall I think.

Re butterfly pic: thanks for votes for Marsh Fritillary.  I think I'll settle for that...  image

Must find Punkdoc's photos and the Bressingham thread.

    Night all!

I'm getting anxious that my GW magazine hadn't yet appeared on my minuscule IPad so feeling a bit deprived , as well as anxious. You all seem to have your hard copies. I've had a few problems with my subscription and purchase of back issues. Only partially sorted out, so far....

I'm looking forward to the photos from your various trips and garden visits.

we look like having a clear-ish day here but since it's only just after 8am, probably a big early to be confident.  I've got more bedding to wash and air and to hang on line before my visitors arrive on Thursday, and yesterday's line full is still draped over indoor frames from yesterday's effort.

Our poodle is due for her 6 weekly shower and shave today so I'll have to juggle laundry between the trip to town, and then my next chiropractor visit tomorrow.  I'm hoping for a couple of sunny days.

I can't imagine getting much gardening done - just open the greenhouse and give everything a cursory look.

i hope you all have good weather today.
