Hosta, you'll have to come and sit on the sofa with me - you can put your feet up on the Big Brazilian leather pouffe image

    Morning all.

Very wet here again, starting to wish I was somewhere else, although it was nice to have darkness again.

Penstemon cuttings today. I have been disappointed by the performance of some of my older ones, so think I will replace them next year.

    Have a great day everyone.

Hostafan, control your urges, although now you mention it, a beautiful Brazilian does sound good.

    Dove, extend that bed.

I grow Garnet, Blackbird and a lovely blue / pink one, whose name escapes me.

    Morning all

Sorry about the knee hosta, lack of smilies Verdun and return to work chicky image

Definitely a doss day today after yesterday's major surgery in the front garden. It's been very unloved for a while and I was letting the weeds grow ready to spray but OH had an important client visiting so I had to tidy things up out front which meant removing two bags of weeds, I will have to let the weeds grow again but I also cleared two areas beside the path once I got started because the council never maintain those areas and i don't  have fencing yet.

It looks much better now, think I might ask the council if I am free to plant there and keep It weed free
