    I've made brugmansia cuttings

For anyone who wants to know how,(Kef and Mrs Garden) I've done a separate thread with photos.

Can begonias be frosted before being dug up and protected for the winter?

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • I think it depends on the frost - something that just 'singed' the foliage would be ok but I wouldn't want a sharp frost on them.

My understanding is that most species of Begonia are far less hardy than Cannas/Dahlias, so should really be lifted before the frosts.
