sorry about your bird Dove, we have a similar problem with wood pidgeons, they dont go into the window, but the porch canopy thing or the wall! i get the impression they arent so bright!
BK, sounds like a really rubbish day at the hospital mate, sounds like you need cake
i hope those of you suffering frome technologyitis recover soon
Hello folks - no baking this afternoon been at the hairdresser's - but here's one I made earlier
Nectarine and raspberry cake - good on its own or with cream - anyone got any cream?
Hair all stylish again - think Dame Judy but spikier
I tried to avoid the problem I had last time I was waiting for a bus by going into Debenhams instead of M&S - didn't work - they had a big sale on three Mantaray tops in my size and colour - oh well, a person can't go about in her gardening clothes every day
Now I'd better read back and find out what everyone else has been doing today
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Yummy Dove, thanks
. Maybe Hefty is going to start chasing after you now you're so spikey
You're such a gentleman Verdun
Lesley, I'm quite safe - Hefty is all tucked up snug in his heap of runner bean haulms , hay and ash leaves

Dove cake looks fab, think I've used your recipe for that before, was it in one of the papers?
Hair sounds super too, mine won't do spiky - too fine, doesn't do much at all actually.
Here are some 'before' pics of my little plants, hope the 'after' ones are stunning in comparison.
