Punkdoc- chill out - I recommend plant porn - had a look at some myself earlier
Had a dog that was allergic to dog biscuits used to have wet food and wholemeal bread - a big dog so that's how I began making my own
Verdun - sun - huh!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just been for a walk though, round the block (about a mile). I have gone from walking 2-3 times a day and gardening constantly to doing nothing. Have to get whole body fit again so walking it is -,can't garden, no digging allowed. Just need a walkmate and I'll be happy
To help avoid pressure sores have just been for a wander to ensure there has been no damage and was overwhelmed by the smell of my hyacinths So far all my daffs (that have bothered to flower) are still standing proud I guess I am just lucky
I got a nice delivery today some fuchsia's from Lyn which are now in my coldframe
Very windy out I added some more compost to my cut flower bed, just need to do the planning of where things will go. Also added some horse manure around the rhubarb plants
I have 2 - one is pathetic, one was doing quite well but slow to get going at moment maybe because it wasn't in ground.
Lovely deep velvety rich colour though - think it's called Black lady or something similar. Pathetic has been dug up because of building work, so I am now nurturing it in GH. Mine have suffered from neglect so they are alive!!
Well, just one fence panel down so feel we got off quite lightly, unless there is more to come.
Feeling really fed up today and no idea why. Have been looking at plant porn today and ordered a couple of things from Crocus in the sale, Dahlia Jescot Julie and some Tuberosa.
We've not had any damage that we can see ... so far ... but I've a feeling it's not over yet ... I think we have another noisy night ahead of us.
Yvie ((hugs)) I think fed-up-ness can come from strange air pressure, noisy wind etc - we'll all feel so much better when the wind drops and the sun comes out again

Wishing you all a safe evening
