Totally pooped after the weekend and garden visit yesterday!

Such a lovely time, really enjoyed meeting everyone, very lucky with the weather.

Few plants came home with me, some from a a swop and some from a the shop...full confession when planted image

Rest the knee Hosta! Waitrose can get a stand in for you for a while but I'm sure you need knees in good working order to make your way round tunnels with watering cans!

Here's a few expressions for you Verdun imageimageimageimageimageimage

Morning Dove/Mother....good luck with the screaming teen! Bet your glad I prefer cats! image x

Hosta, you made me laugh when you wrote about being unable to go back to bed with your cuppa - I told Hubby and he commented that would NEVER happen here.  I have to agree.  The thought of having to put fresh sheets on at that stage, would certainly put a damper on slipping back for a little lounging.

Re Penstemons - I was telling Wonky only yesterday that I used to grow 'Sour Grapes' in a previous garden image  Simply glows in evening light.

Gosh you were all jolly rather early this morning image If you don't know Sour Grapes is a variety of Penstemon then the earlier comment is quite funny (I didn't btw!)

Did you buy anything in the garden centre yesterday, you lot. I was underwhelmed after the gardens. I can't help thinking they would do a lot better if they went round the gardens, made a list and set up a special area.... as seen in the Bressingham gardens. I wonder if they could do with a marketing consultant.image

The sun is doing her best to make an appearance. Hopefully it'll be around to heat the conservatory up ,and then the rest of the house.

I had to light the woodburner last night. IN JULY!!!!!!

Rain just stopped play. I cleared an area for replanting, tipped four bags of home made compost on, then it tipped it down. Coffee break now, then planting.
