    First chance to get on here today.  Ruddy madhouse with phones and neighbours.  (Love them for caring though)..  Mum should be home tomorrow.

    Sorry to hear about your Mum's fall Liri.  Hope she is recovering from the shock and hope she's not in too much pain.

    Been round to tell a neighbour the latest but she plied me with sherry.  I should sleep well tonight.

    Thanks beksimage.  Next stop, heaven knows when, is Liverpool where they've got a big machine to zap those stones. May avoid a big opimage.

    I wish I could see vertical daffs but.....where the wind blows..

    At home I've grown mini daffs that have done really well in the gales.

    They do have to be tied in - not climbers in the sense of clematis or honeysuckle but do grow tall.
