  • Getting my hair cut later too KEF, now who's setting the trend?  When I get asked that question I usually say 'just shopping' and the shampoo girl says, 'oooh lovely' and I just pull a face image

    Just in from the garden.

when will the grass stop growing ? Very wet but must try to cut this afternoon.

too long already, only excuse returned Tuesday from 14 nights on the Braemar, anyone else been on that ship, our favourite

  • Sad image a cock blackbird just smashed into the studio window - looks like its neck's broken.  It's the problem with the window facing east-southeast and having just been cleaned - there's a lovely reflection of blue skies - we've just stuck some wide masking tape on the window which hopefully will cure the problem.   We had lots of cock blackbirds in the garden this summer and at least one nest brought off three successful broods, so we won't be without blackbirds - but it's a shame nevertheless.

Thank you Lesley and KEF. Leaving tomorrow, staying with daughter in Northern France, taking the Chunnel on Sunday.

Farmer delivered hay into horses' field shelter this morning for them to help themselves to while we are away. Housesitter will be here. Must do the ironing and pack.

  • Morning all! It's another grim day, about 12 degrees here. I quite like it though, so quite happy that I get to wear another jumper! Hooray!

Nah, this hospital visit was for me, I had not one, not two, but three biopsies! Urgh. All feeling better now though, just a little achy, and ready to take on the day!

Haha, def, I've got some worms and a tablet imageimage

I'm really sorry to hear about your bird DovefromAbove, that is so sad. I love birds (I own a parrot) so hearing about them getting hurt does upset me. I'm glad to hear you had a succesful year with their nests though! And enjoy your holiday Bizzie, what part of northern france are you off to? OH and I went to Lille earlier this year and it was amazing.

And Welcome, Susan! Lovely to see a fellow newbie!
