We have had four phone calls today by the man who is "managing our expectations". I've never heard such a load of management speak Bull **** in years. Give me someone who speaks plain English anyday.
I hate internet providers, after a promise from sky that 'my service wouldnt be interupted all' when I changed from virgin. I had 5 weeks without the internet and at that time I worked from home. I gave a few choice words to the man who was 'managing my expectations' I can tell you. Anyway this would have been a perfect topic for the Get it Off Your Chest Thread, I reckon it would run for weeks.
Bekkie - got those tools but wanted to use hammer and nails for this project so I could try and use the holes in the pallet wood where they were joined before
Lyn - I am trying to get you a little Hebe Lisa it is in a small pot growing away till it gets a little bigger as only small, I was having trouble with the plant before if you remember when trying to get a cutting for you, you did well with the white Campion plants that's good - heat wave dried out my fuchsia
had a whole pile of maggots near the bin outside horrible now in the bin
spent a bit of time watching the rats climbing up and down next doors trees so cute looking and fascinating
Evening all. Not had time to read everything as I've been busy outside after work apart from making dinner.
doc- so glad you had the weather to enjoy our beautiful countryside. Ballater's a lovely place and close to the Lochnagar hills. I've enjoyed a lot of walking there so understand how you feel about not doing that anymore. Plenty has been said re your mum so I won't add anything. I think you know already how I feel about all that. It's a very difficult situation to deal with. We need a 'big hug' smiley to send to you, but in it's absence I'll send some of these xxx.
Hope you had a good day with mum KEF and haven't eaten too much cake.
Fidget - shame about hog, but at least you helped him. I'd agree with philippa's method of 'expectation management'. It's a wonder anyone has any expectations at all with these b****y utility companies.
Hope no one has suffered too badly with the flooding and storms today. I'm off to have a quick look round before going to bed.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Lily are you sure there isn't someone sitting on your roof with a hose pipe? Me thinks your garlic might have been washed away.
Nite nite Fairy
Didn't have any cake.
Well, back into the old routine, tea cooked and eaten. Have not seen OH since holiday. She seemed pleased to see me!
She has also been watering and mowed lawns for me, so although the garden is a mess, it is alive and it can be resurrected.
I am utterly drained after the last few weeks, but a few days gardening should restore the balance.
Thankyou so much for the kind words, they do help.
Alcohol calling.
When you don't even know who's in the team
S.Yorkshire/Derbyshire border
Who said alcohol

Take care Pdoc don't go mad in the garden on day one.
Nite nite all, sleep well
