Hi everyone, a lovely sunny day here in Worcester. Day 1 of a five day marathon nanna duty over.
Funny everyone is talking about the GW Choisya I had saved the programme so I wouldn't forget the variety. It was lovely and I really need to investigate a nice spot for it.
Tomorrow I'll be mostly waiting in for delivery of Firstborn's new dishwasher. Not sure if I'll get time to take Mabel out to feed the ducks at the local park or not.
Will really miss my garden this week hope hubby looks after it for me
Hello all. Matty and I have come back from SW England to SW France. We had a great time at the Malvern Show and went to a huge Garden Centre. We came back on Saturday evening, but have been so busy.
My garden, which is open on Sunday, has been very busy while I was away growing masses of goosegrass and creeping buttercups! We've been trying to remove them.
It's now very hot here in Dordogne, 27° today.
I have read a bit, but 6 pages since yesterday!
Malvern Spring Show
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hello all, quick pop in whilst waiting for dishwasher to finish 3rd load of the day.
Mad busy, even for me but did squeeze in the Flower Festival in nearby town yesterday, even had to get a 'flower taxi' to get my bargains to the car. Mostly alpines obviously, but did get 3 lovely looking blueberry bushes too.
Full schedule all week but hope to pop in soon, keep getting snatches of what's going on but not the full story. Good wishes to all, see you soon.

Good morning to anyone else daft enough to be up already I was woken by the dawn chorus and couldn't get back to sleep. I've already been outside to top up the robin's mealworms.
I had a fuzzy head when I went to bed last night, and now I've got blocked up ears - I drove past lots of oilseed rape fields yesterday - think the pollen has got to me.
Topbird, sounds like you're having fun and BL and Matty too
Hope Hostafan's knee is feeling better and that his OH's elbow is bearing up.
Haven't we all been working hard?
Verdun, I agree with everything you say about the Chelsea Challenge last night - trees were just being slotted into holes, not planted. It's about window dressing/set design, not gardening - that should be explained at least.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
The birds drove me out of bed too Dove. Starlings have nested under the tiles by our bedroom and the eggs have now hatched. What a racket. Hooe there is something you can take to relieve your hay fever.
Beautiful pics of Malvern Lizzie and I hope you and Matty are having fun
Still have to watch Chelsea challenge which I recorded.

My goodness how busy everyone has been today.
Topbird I may have mentioned Larch Cottage
Verdun, couldn't agree more, I got quite cross at the extent of the planting without a thought to cost. Maybe I need to do more yoga!
