Just popping in to say I'm tanning on a Colorado balcony- on a ski holiday, but the weather is amazing ! So hot all day! Snow is still good up the mountain as well - so best of both.

ughhh, a fly in my wine is less good.

Im guessing youre all in bed by now so chat when I get home.

What a lovely container Fidgetimage (Few pages back now, but still in my memory).

Cinderella was great - nothing wrong with a bit of schmaltzy feel goodimage.

Had a great afternoon yesterday, avoiding the gales and the rain in the GH.  Lots of rooted cuttings potted up (including several Beau Sedumsimage), and lots of seedlings pricked out (including KEF delphiniums), and some more seeds sown (including Fairy Nasturtiums).  Felt like my Forker Friends were all in there with me having a partyimage

Yes,panda, those orange ones are tulip kaufmanniana early harvest. The daffs in the garden are flowering too. Tha lasagne effect in that pot is not right. It should have been crocuses, then daffs, then tulips. But the daffs are late and the tulips early.image

  • Morning, had an early night and slept right through until 10 minutes ago - exhausted after last week and hectic week-end full of guests.

Weather a bit wet so today is about sorting seedlings out and planting a few more, got some new seed trays and lids from a friend who visited UK last week in the B&Q sale. Some of them were only 50p. image

Panda, glad you mentioned the daffs, lovely as they are I did wonder but didn't like to say. image

Bekkie, hope you didn't laugh when OH fell, glad only his pride is bruised. image

Love skiing Mrs G, what a super resort, very jealous.

OK school run time, see you later have a nice day everyone. image

  • Morning Fidget, love the lasagne idea even if not turned out as you wanted, lovely colours and I am glad I was right in thinking they were tulips, my identification skills are bad enough without getting the basics wrong. image

Good morning all image   blustery winds here but at least the rain and stormy skies of an hour ago have swapped for wall to wall sunshine ... but for how long?

Heading south in a bit to visit funeral directors and Ma - will try to take lunch on the harbour with a camera to hand image
