Welcome home Chicky..I've got a body warmer & trousers on Only 15C here.
Lesley Gala was a bit of a non event, half kiddies rides didn't turn up and a lot of stalls missing..might due to fact it has rained..I was going to say something else Hope your mum is recovering and your foot improving x
Think Pdoc will be back today/ tomorrow..bet he thinks 15C is tropical
Ooh I hope Pdoc's coming home and I want a blow by blow description. What an adventure . KEF you could have invited all the little ones into your garden
Runny I got loads from sacks, still got Pink Fir to harvest, Anya was pathetic, best was Charlotte All dry and stored in paper sacks that I cadged from veg man on the market and now in our garage. Not all full sacks just different ones in each sack. Don't grow in the ground I don't have space.
It's been p*****g down but I've been out under the conifer erecting netting. Had enough of these *%*£$ing cats. Of course, that was after I had to scrub my gardening boots and clean and disinfect the whole kitchen floor....I'm sure you can guess why Give me sheep and rabbits any time.
Susan I have no problem with wind turbines. I can see the Whitelee wind farm from an upstairs window and it's rather soothing at times as they gently turn. I know I'm in a minority there, but we seem to happily accept the hideous leccy pylons that blot the entire landscape, presumably because we're used to them. So many pix I could have taken but they would be ruined by the pylons running along the tops of the lower hills. Just my personal thought.
Still Game - aah... the Glesgae banter....
Hope doc has some good tales to tell
I should really have some lunch.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
The hills have a lot of hydro stations too Steve, and they're not the most attractive things either, but I believe we have to look at other sources of energy. The people who live and work in the more remote areas of hills and glens don't have the benefit of mains gas and electric either! We're an island surrounded by wind and water - as well the endless additional stuff that falls out the sky

Yes. Definitely time for lunch. The second one.
With you on wind turbines FG. Far rather look at them than a power station..
