Woo hoo Fairy You wouldn't get it cut down South, it's been chucking down all morning Love the fence, and it's colour . . . . can you remember what colour you painted it?
It was a cheapy B&Q one Panda - Bonsai I think (?) - but it's not worn well on the bench - too much rain scouring it off. The screen is new wood though so that might be why it's not too bad. I bought some Ronseal recently in Willow but not had time to do it. It's a little darker. I'll check the colour when I go in the shed
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Not just grass Fairy but rich, verdant, weedfree grass. We have had the perfect weather for grass seed though. The fence does look great and you were inspired to have thought of the window. Beautiful clematis too. I didn't comment at the time on another thread because I was in a rush but I'm still chuckling at Jim McColl downing the Red Bull's.
It was only sown about 4 or 5 weeks ago - lots of rain though
To be honest - the window was a faff, but I can see little glimpses of the white border behind it from my kitchen window
Lesley - I think Jim might have been on the Red Bull after watching B'grove - he kept talking about stuff growing like the clappers and giggling to himself.... It reminded me of Jack and Victor in Still Game when they took the pills and went mental

We've had so much rain Verd - and it was warm enough to get it germinated. I intended doing it in spring but it was so cold here it would simply have sulked and then rotted. It was all in the timing
I'm hanging off cutting it for as long as possible before the rain comes in today to let it dry. Ideally I should have cut it last week but the weather isn't always the way we'd like it!

It's a lovely colour and I like the 'window' in the fence

. Loved Still Game.
The grass cutting will be a bit of a gamble - let it dry v get it cut - the clouds are gathering
