Well we did have a bit of a break in the weather so I went out and potted up my dahlia's that arrived from Sarah Raven this morning and put them in the greenhouse.
The greenhouse looked like it needed a bit of a tidy up so I cleared it of any dead leaves etc and found out that my salvia (deep blue patens) is not dead after all. Lots of little green shoots around the base of the plant.
That led me to potting on the choccamochas just in case they weren't dead. Also potted up 20 or so little starter plants into 9cm pots.
I was going to plant some seeds but it started to rain. Never mind I've brought in the electric propagator so I give it a good clean.
All in all a fairly productive morning considered the state of me. Now for a nice cuppa and perhaps a bit of tele, or maybe Ill just take a look on t'internet ...........
See Yviestevie we get no warning You did brill and hopefully nothing heavy involved. Enjoy your well deserved cuppa I still haven't got dressed! You guys distract me! I'm really going now
Sorry Lucy - the magazine should be somewhere but I can't find it anywhere - it's definitely not in any of the bookcases If it turns up I'll let you know ...
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Didn't see your post there BM. Yes I know I'm not very good at advanced warnings, I tend to do things on the spur of the moment. Only had to drag one bag of compost a short distance so not too taxing.
Afternoon all! Trying to spur up some inspiration to spend the evening writing invoices. I left work early with the intention of cracking straight on to them (why sit in a cold building when I can come home and write in the warm?) But I took Reggie out in the garden to play, he dug up some daffodils for me (well they did need dividing) and we've now replanted them amongst the washing line. I just hope he doesn't dig them back up!
It was glorious outside! Cooling down now already and I get the sensation it'll be a cold night.
Bekkie: pork stir fry here tonight! (I'm working til 02:30 tomorrow so wanted a meal I would reheat and take with me tomorrow). I'm hoping parent will be cooking as I am more than happy to curl up on the sofa this evening!
My post from this morning has gone missing too. I asked if anyone had heard from Fairygirl. I hope she's not under a snowdrift.
It seems to have been eliminated. Maybe she's joined MI5.
I am being sent some samples of a new fragrance called 007 for women. I think it should have been called Bondgirl instead.
I've been shopping today. Some clinique (on special offer), two bras, and I've cleaned two Sainsburies out of a nice merlot they had on offer. That should keep me going for a while.

Don't worry Dove the offer finished. Edd posted the link so unfortunately Lucy missed the boat.
