    Evening all

Well, my first and lengthy post pertaining to all your well beings was lost to the ether since I wrote it in the bath and the screen froze on the last smiley image

So now, at the risk of sounding uncaring...

Sorry for those with snowimage I don't really know what we had here since I've been shut in a little room for most of the last two days but I did see it snow on one of my breaks and it's been frosty in the mornings, but nothing lying.

Now I've had a thorough wash from Flynn and my bath, it's time for doing nothingimage

Chucky, new space has an amelanchier in already but might put more central and a bit further back.

Ggirl , thanks, think I might try my hand at further thinning, any tips?

Mrs garden, it looks like you've had the lollipoppers round. They have done the trees on the main road around here as well. You might still have to take out any crossing branches to give a more open structure. It will send up lots of shoots that need to be pruned back to three buds to give fruit.

  • Evening all,

Sorry to hear your cold turned to flu BL, shame about cancelled lunch too, very frustrating I'm sure.image

Wet towels also very frustrating! image

Hate to say it but weather glorous here today, been in garden all day - cutting back - slighty worried have overdone it but the shrubs were just getting too big & one clematis a very tangled mess, can but hope. image

Evening meal has been a pizza, too late too cook anything good but I did add extra cheese & salami. image

Now going to try & de-kink by the fire with a little glass of wine. Good evening to all. image

    Evening all.

Well that was fun, test driving a potential new car, in a snowstorm.

Not sure what I will be getting yet, some more looking next week. A few years ago I would have really enjoyed it, but now I would rather be in the garden.

OH cooking North African lamb, am having a G@T while waiting.
