Been doing the volunteering walking around the local park for the conservation day doing litter picking was dry before lunch but cold due to wind some areas were so muddy, my left shoulder is saw it was heavy rubbish and lots of it, while having lunch it started raining so home time - put cream on shoulder now heat pack - been raining lots since home
Mrs Garden nice pics apple trees look ok, thinning out could do with a bit more but height looks fine
I'm back 'Thinking' was hard work Luckily we pinched some guides from another group and we didn't have to do quite so much 'thinking'
Am off out again shortly to the cinema Am preparing to take out a second mortgage to pay for everything I am led to believe the cinema is quite expensive these days
Well, my first and lengthy post pertaining to all your well beings was lost to the ether since I wrote it in the bath and the screen froze on the last smiley
So now, at the risk of sounding uncaring...
Get well soon BL & Dove and make good use of the OH Bekkie, nice job on the new car uncle Verdun. Bad luck on the death of yours PD show us your plants Yvie and nice job to all the litter pickers you deserve chocolate as does fidget for all her industry this week.
Sorry for those with snow I don't really know what we had here since I've been shut in a little room for most of the last two days but I did see it snow on one of my breaks and it's been frosty in the mornings, but nothing lying.
Now I've had a thorough wash from Flynn and my bath, it's time for doing nothing
Mrs garden, it looks like you've had the lollipoppers round. They have done the trees on the main road around here as well. You might still have to take out any crossing branches to give a more open structure. It will send up lots of shoots that need to be pruned back to three buds to give fruit.
Sorry to hear your cold turned to flu BL, shame about cancelled lunch too, very frustrating I'm sure.
Wet towels also very frustrating!
Hate to say it but weather glorous here today, been in garden all day - cutting back - slighty worried have overdone it but the shrubs were just getting too big & one clematis a very tangled mess, can but hope.
Evening meal has been a pizza, too late too cook anything good but I did add extra cheese & salami.
Now going to try & de-kink by the fire with a little glass of wine. Good evening to all.

Well that was fun, test driving a potential new car, in a snowstorm.
Not sure what I will be getting yet, some more looking next week. A few years ago I would have really enjoyed it, but now I would rather be in the garden.
OH cooking North African lamb, am having a G@T while waiting.

Chucky, new space has an amelanchier in already but might put more central and a bit further back.
