    Afternoon Panda! image

Wow Lesley! That going in or coming out?!?! I'm sure there's a plan......right? image

Flatface or "Flatters" as he now comes to, haha! Is considering forgiving me whilst sleeping off lunch in the shade!

Bet it was nice and quiet whilst they were away for lunch! Can'tCan't blame Dino, I'd join him if I were you! image

I'd go for Flattyimage.  Poor Dino (Jekka) has a small wound under her ear and I scrolled back - for ages - to see what Steve had offered in the way of advice re Flatface.  I had read it but couldn't remember.  I varied the recipe from 1pt to half pint and teaspoon to half a teaspoon of salt.  Hope it worksimage

The big concrete slabs are going backimage.  The supporting wall was collapsing.  I quite fancy a marble terrace with twinkling lights and a pool by the side.  BUT we're in Scotland, retired (very tired) and the weather doesn't help. I'm staying awake at night planning the borderimage

I went for quire a strong solution of saltwater Lesley about four heaped teaspoons to half pint, poor Dino, hope she heals up soon, its amazing how quickly they do heal, the vet was really pleased with Flatters, last week he had an inch diamond shape chasm in his cheek, now just a cheeky dimple! No stitches either, just flushed out.

I know what its like staying awake planning gardening Lesley! Live very close to the football ground, think they would notice if I turned their flood lights in my direction? Think of the extra gardening time!

Sounds like you have a vision Lesley! image glad you have some chaps in too! Keep us up to date with progress! And best of luck with wound bathing!

Afternoon all,  Everyone has been very busy.

Loved the idea of Dove starring in 'Oops there goes my Pyjamas'.   When firstborn was living in London she had an audition for Silent Witness.  Unfortunately as she went to go in the bathroom to get ready the door handle came off in her hand.  She had to have a quick wash in the sink, scrape her greasy hair up on her head and wee in a bucket.  She actually got the part as an overworked, stressed NHS nurse. Method acting at its finest.

That looks like a job and a half  Lesley, never mind perhaps your builders will be all hunky to distract you from the mess.

Hope poorly pooches and cats get better.

Can't remember anything else and if I go back I'll lose my post.

I've had a busy day myself today.  Had to do some shopping this morning and went to see mum.  Sorted all her clothes out as I have to label them all so the home can do her washing when I'm on holiday.  Doesn't seem five minutes since she was sewing labels into my school clothes.

Put another coat of paint on the trellis and did a bit of tidying in the garden and mowed the lawns.

Tonight I'll be mainly sewing labels.image

    Afternoon all!

Well my class went well and seemed to enjoy themselves, Reggie kept everything on the inside so its so far a good day. Raining now which I'm sure my potp will appreciate.

Trying to decide what to have for super: something I can take as leftovers for my makaton course that starts tomorrow would be good!

    Hello

Can't believe I haven't been here earlier,. Have discovered that if you only do half as much gardening as you used to it doesn't matter cos things still look OK - except where there is builders rubbleimage

Have made elderflower cordial and some is now in freezer to see if it's possible to freeze- does anyone know?

Will give daughter some on Sunday

Have had a phone call from the Dog's Trust - it seems little dog was terrified of a cat (we have 2)image We are going to see her again tomorrow and will be able to have her off lead in a play area so we should see how 'nervy' she is. Then we will make an informed decision about her, as I don't particularly want a stressed out/nervous animal. This household wouldn't suit one.

having first of the garden broad beans today with fish and chips

Hope Reggie is OK, Dove can find the loo in pyjams, builders rubble is removed and evryone is fine.
