Morning all. So sad that there are so many grumpy and bad mannerd people around. I remember the general goodwill and cheerfulness that was around during the 2012 olympics, and thinking wouldnt it be nice if we kept it going.
Very cold but sunny here, just back from dentist. Should really do some work in the garden, am wanting to increase the size of some borders [ actually I seem to do this most winters ], but feeling lazy. Maybe a wander round with note book and a bit of planning, maybe some list making.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
It's not a proper pressie, but it might be ready for Christmas
It's son's birthday on Sunday - I'm visiting him in the morning and daughter in the afternoon, but it's OH's birthday today so he's getting spoilt - today is his day at home so he'll spend it in the studio and I'm planning a lovely supper for him (proscuitto and artichoke hearts, then lobster salad, then lemon curd and meringue icecream accompanied by a bottle of something lovely).
Lily, you can put in an order, but I think it'll be woolly hats next as I've got some wool left over
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Garden frozen so it's HW today. Bird feeders topped up ( I think the rooks get most of it before I get up!). Evening out at a friend's, if snow misses me, which it probably will. Off to ring Mum who is now 94 and going reasonably strongly.
Potential disaster averted yesterday when I spilled some cream on my mac. Some went into the mousepad but I think my massaging of it's ego has kept it alive.
Fidget, Happy Birthday to your OH and his duplicate - I've got the 1970 version
As for the chap wearing the jumper KEF, give him a shave and a hair cut and he's the one I've got Ok, yes I know I'm a very luck Dove
Woody, my son speaks very highly of Apple's service people - they have saved his bacon with his, so if yours decides it didn't like it's cream topping give them a shout!
