    Morning.

Wether here is poo and I have a choice of jobs, wash stones, clear patio, organise shed or more barking which I might manage later if the sun comes out. For now, its a well earned rest image

    Welcome Cbonkers

Ha ha Lily, it's this thing with Cornwall being 'special' image Lord Verdun will know more about it but they had a discussion on Radio 2 yesterday lunchtime and it was on the news, I think they want to become independent and recognised as their own country like Scotland and Wales image

Lovely 3 mile hound walk done, I love going in the morning when the birds are happy and there are lots of bluebells out now.....my own little mini bluebell walk image

Welcome Bonkers, a very appropriate name for this thread and congratulations on the wedding.  My sister is getting married in June so it's wedding fever here too at the moment, my role is chief bridesmaid and hen night organiser (most important image).

Mrs G. I was perfectly safe I wasn't the one holding the welder this time so its all good. Fortunately we caught it before too much damaged was caused - its an old vehicle with a timber frame and the wood was rather dry!

Got an email today to say that my worms for the wormery and mealworms are being delivered today - at least it wont be too hot for them! I've asked for them to be left by the back gate but I've never used this courier before so we'll have to see if they do it as otherwise my poor little worms will be having quite the bumpy time on the roads all day (I just hope we'd be able to collect them on Saturday!!)

Bet you can guess what I'll be up too when I get home - I hope Edd is around to answer any questions!!

Welcome Bonkers. I see you've managed to get a thread going. Hopefully we'll be able to come up with some suggestions!

Why is when I'm in a hurry I always stick the mascara in my eye - if I go out I'll get mistaken for Panda image

Well, I got my sweet peas in the other day, hardy annual plugs are outside, surplus plants have gone to mums, leaving me with more growing on space.

..So, i'm browsing plantworld seeds for perennials seeds to grow for next year.

Some campanulas, some foxgloves, some hardy geraniums, all sorts of odd hardy climbers mmm might be at this some time.

doc- Venice will be more then enough present. Well, it would be for me anyway but you'll know Mrs doc best of course! Take her to Cafe Florian - get a bank loan first of course - it's gorgeous, and fit in a trip to Verona on the train if you can manage it too. Beautiful. image

    Maybe a card or too...image

Builder's been - he's a good guy and will sort it out for me as  I knew he would image

Off to do a bit of packaging for the post once I've had my cup  of tea.

A poultice is what you need for that thumb MrsG. My mum swore by them...image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Punkdoc, you've survived 20 years of wedded bliss and you dont know yet, that when a woman says she doesn't want a present, it means you will in the dog house for the next year unless you get one. So thats two presents, one for anniversary, one for birthday. OK?

Traditional 20th Wedding anniversary present is China. Presumably because by that time all the wedding gift china has been smashed, and its time for some decent stuff when the kids are old enough not to chuck it around.image

if you are going to be in Venice, a piece of Murano glass would be a nice physical reminder.  Dont forget to have Bellinis in Harrys bar at the Hotel Cipriani.
