I got kitted up in thermals, planted a row of raspberries in the rain.

Then I retreated to greenhouse to pot up a couple of bare root shrubs.

Then i gave in. Time for brunch I think.

I seem to be losing weight faster than OH. I think he's cheating.

Lots done there MrsGimage - now you're all ready for spring.  Whats the plan for your new planting space??

rain and wind now swept in here, but not before I mad a good attempt at cutting back old stems in the borders.  Now looks much better.....weeding and mulching nextimage  Loads of new shoots sprouting away already - they don't seem to mind the daily frosts.  Think I might curl up with a book now image

Bekkie, I'm not a trooper after all. Had terrible night, couldn't breathe, shivered then sweated, joints ache, skin feels like I've been rubbed with sandpaper. Temperature this morning was 101.6. Lunch party cancelled. Cold seems to have turned into 'flu. Been in bed, just got up, but think I'll be back in bed shortly. Sorry to sound so depressing. Daughter and 2 grandchildren are coming tomorrow, daughter says they have just had 'flu and are immune.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Oh dear BL - sorry to hear you're so poorly - hope mine doesn't evolve like yours image

    Get well soon ((hugs))

BL - hope you feel better soon. There does seem to be a lot of that about at the moment. DD had 1/2 the class off before half term with itimage.
