  • Not sure Dove, not seen  weather forecast on tv this morning. But must admit it was a surprise this morning. Forecast last night was more rain. It has stopped now and the sun is trying to peek through,  but the sky looks pretty white up there image

Hope you feel better Busy Liz x

    Morning all.

    Feels like Siberia here.

Going to plant out rest of Box blobs, as I reckon they will be better in the ground, than in pots.

Happy Birthday for yesterday KEF, I was too p####d off about car to be posting. Seems like it will be new car, rather than new greenhouse this year.

The scammers I get at the moment, are trying to sell me vintage wine. What do they know about me?

    Have a lovely day everyone.

    Morningimage

sun is shining (no snow in this part of surrey) and have already been out to see whats growing.  Signs of my new daffs, the new hellebores that I thought had died might actually have shoots (if not flowers) after all, my snowdrops are lovely and the whole place smells of daphneimage.  Came back in cold but grinningimageimageimageimageimage.

lesley - sprouting seeds are lupins and foxgloves - 5more trays yet to show signs of life, but it has only been 6 daysimage.

Hi Everyone,  No snow here, nice and sunny.  Bekkie I must have missed it, didn't get up until 10.15image.

Hope everyone's colds clear up quickly, wrap up warm and lots of nice choccies and hot toddys.  Always works for me.

Not sure yet what's on today's agenda apart from catching up on the laundry.  I think a visit to the garden centre might be in order to look at pots.  Still thinking about what to do to make the obelisks sturdier.  They are good ones and were'nt cheap so need to make the most of them.

I've just spent an hour "nicking" about 60 canna seeds using a pair of pliers and a pair of nail clippers. I hope it's worth it. They're now soaking in warm water.

Hoping the knee holds out and I can sow them tomorrow morning.

Need to ask OH to pop out and get me some compost. He's asleep after night shift, but might go offer him a cuppa.

    Devon.

Well that is seriously annoying. Spent ages putting 17 layers of clothing on, got outside, the sun went, and it is now snowing, raining and hailing, all at the same time.
