    Hi Bekkie & Hosta image

Snow !! image Blast that will spoil your planned day for George. Hosta hope your knee is a little easier today.

No hangover, the chocolate kept me sober, in fact I've just had a look in the box and there are only three left in it imageimage OH must have eaten them when I nodded off image they don't put as many in a box as they used to do I know because I don't have a sore tongue.

Today I'm at mum's for a visit, siblings visiting and then this evening out with friends for drinkies and a curry, I might be tired tomorrow morning image

  • Oh dear! Just been having a real giggle image  A nice young man phoned me about my BT internet connection (we're with Virgin) - apparently he can tell that every time I switch my computer on I download viruses image

I was very concerned - it must have made my voice go all 'little old lady-ish'. He said he could help me if I pressed some particular buttons on the keyboard - I told him I'd done it but the screen just went black - he said I'd done it wrong and I was to do it again but every time I did it still the screen was black image He was very puzzled and eventually said that I'd have to re-start my computer.

By that time I was bored so somehow my normal voice came back and I told him I knew it was a scam. The line went dead. image

Thanks KEF, don't mean to tempt fate, but the knee is neither too painful this morning, not too swollen. Still taking it easy.

Dove, when I get those calls, I always say, " let me go and fetch a pen" and just leave them hanging forever until they give up. If I pick up the phone and they're still there, I let them carry on for a few seconds and then say " oh sorry, this pen doesn't work, hold on"

    Repeat as necessary .

Morning all, terrible night coughing. But less bunged up this morning so hopefully on the mend. Felt rotten yesterday after the supermarket trip. I must must be better tomorrow for lunch party. Most of the people coming have just had colds too.

Going to make huge chicken casserole for tomorrow, I have a very big pressure cooker, and a tray of roasted veg. Must make a loaf of bread too. The one I bought in Leclerc supermarket yesterday is as hard as a rock.

    Poured all night, sunny now.
