As suspected, my snowdrops arrived yesterday afternoon and need to be planted - today it is going to pour with rain.  I think I'll put them in pots so I can plant them out later - does everyone think that'll be ok?

    Morning all.

Woke up in such a sweat I had to flip the duvet over, then couldn't get back to sleep.

After the Doc had a major "manipulation" on Tuesday, my knee was killing me all day yesterday. Fingers crossed it will calm down again.

Feeling very sorry for myself knowing there's tons to be done and nothing I'd love more than to be out there doing  it.image

  • That dosent soumd right Hosta, maybe you need to give the doc a call, hope you feel better soon image

    Thanks Bekkie.

I've been on a sun bed in The Gambia for a fortnight, so total rest.

I'm sure the Doc really did need to give it a good old prod / stretch / twist to establish what exactly ws going on, but after 2 weeks of inactivity, I reckon it was, literally, a shock to the system.

I envy the your dog: wish I was asleep. OH came in from night shift at 6.30 and went into deep snore mode, so I just got up.

Have a great shift BM and yes...Beau is beautifulimage

Sorry about your knee Hostafanimage it sounds terrible but its still not too late to catch up in the garden, you have until the end of May to move stuff (in my part of the world anyhow)

I don't know anything about snowdrops Dove except I would hazard they are tough as old boots considering how they are divided.

    Morning all...

There was a frost today but not as bad as yesterday and the sun is shining. Need to get that third box ball in today and my Pittosporum and the row of Lavender I have and that just leaves me 15 plants to go image unless I buy more image which could happy if I go anywhere near a GC image and then my work is never done image BUT...I would have the most amazing garden image

    Morning all.

    Wet and dark this morning.

Lots of pricking out and potting on, of overwintered seedlings in green house. Lovely job, but no space to get comfortable in greenhouse, so do I cart all the stuff into the house, make a mess, upset OH, or what?

Where are Fairy and Orchid lady? Miss them, want them back.

For those interested, although no reason why you should be, I am trying an electronic cigarette, to try to help me cut down. I know a man in my line of work should know better.

My cunning plan is, for each pack I don't smoke, I have saved the cost of a new plant.

    Have a good day everyone.
