Morning all. Foggy here, lets hope it clears and the sun pokes through later.

Good lateral thinking Tracey, hope you enjoyed your walk.

May do a bit of 'tangerine-ing' after my morning bath!

Good Morning. For last few days I've kept saying it is misty in a morning & burning off later, turns out after actually watching the news    image it is very poor air quality and most of country is affected. Wonder if that means less lichen on the old apple treeimage

    SM trip today.

Did call into GC yesterday but only bought Kale, white radish and courgette seeds. Place was heaving.

Hope all have a good day.

poor quality air? is that as well as sahara dust? or is it just foggy?imageimage

If you have Sahara dust you'll see it on your car. Some of it is low pressure holding dust over us and some is pollutants blown in from Europe...or that's what I understand...

    PM'd you MrsGarden

Good morning all image  A bit late on here this morning - have been getting ahead with other household tasks in order that I can spend the rest of the day in the garden - but must go to GC first - more manure needed, and plants for the pond - good job I've found the vouchers I was given when I retired image

    Back-at-ya-Kef.

woo hoo, finally! one tiny sweetpea poking through as is an even smaller carrot seedling! (both outside) Just wait a bit longer for their brothers and sisters to arrive.image

Statice and morning glory thinking about it in GH, think they need a coffee to get them going, been the same for a couple of days or four.

Verdun, didn't know you could get orange hyacynths and agastaches, bet they are lovely, aq pic would be nice. Question about echinaceas - original one left over winter in border with a bell cloche, no sign yet. Cutting in coldframe and sheltered spot doing ok. Cuttings in GH some had mildew all winter, now in sheltered spot, leaves have gone red, is this to do with mildew, any advice? Other cuttings in GH smaller than those outside or CF. generally should i divide them all up now or wait a bit longer, temps seem to have dropped overnight again.Ta.

Hello all, so grey and gloomy in Gloucestershire, hope I can get out and tackle things today but I think it's gonna rain image

Hurrumph!  To add to the Severe Saharan Dust pollution in Norfolk, the opposite neighbours' builders are angle-grinding paving stones - clouds of cement dust everywhere - glad I did the planting at the front of the house yesterday image
