Morning, chilly and damp, very heavy mist still hanging around.
Took Charlie to school & started talking to another mum, finishing a conversation from yesterday - Charlie interrupted to say goodbye & get his hug & said "mummy you should be in the world record book for talking at school" - not quite sure how to take that. I am aware my posts always seem longer than everyone else's too.
No fancy underwear left here Clari - all got left in England, space was a priority no room for things that haven't seen the light of day for years.
My garden is definitely my holiday destination from now on & happy to be that way too actually.
Two years ago in Tenerife Charlie was picked from the audience to join in a dolphin show (he was only 5). I know I am biased but he was amazing, it was like he had practiced it all, dancing, diving, swimming & then finally tossed up in the air, landing beautifully & giving a final very elaborate bow to the audience - will never forget it.
Right the dreaded h*******k beckons - it is true to say it has got away from the last couple of days.

Morning all, Nanna duty today, done the school trip and tidied upstairs, now hoping little one will have a sleep so I can grab a cuppa and relax a bit. Not much hope at the moment as she is in her cot shouting 'Nanna love you' at the top of her voice.
Weather was awful here for a short while, cold, windy and heavy rain. Sun has come out a bit now.
Hope manure delivery men remember to take bags through the side gate, don't much fancy lugging 15 large bags about when I get home.
Been lucky enough to have some really good hols including swimming with Dolphins, looking at Kilimanjaro across the plains of Africa and hot air ballooning over the Nile. Maybe if I was a bit more sensible I would have put away a bit more for my old age, but I prefer to have the memories, now perfectly happy to enjoy my garden and grandchildren. Hubby still has wonderlust and scrapes together enough for a holiday each year.
we used to have an apartment in South Goa, 500m from beach and we spent all of Dec / Jan / Feb there for 9 years. Used it as a base to travel around India / Asia until the "powers that be" decided " foreign nationals will never be given their title deeds". We had no option but to sell up. Many happy memories though.
Raining very heavily here, hence no clothes shopping with teenagers (hurray)
Watching the dog chasing his tail is far more amusing anyway. He asked to go out earlier with his stare of death, so I suited and booted him and opened up the back door for tinkle time and he took one look and that was the end of that idea.
