nothing as exciting as mushrooms here... just picking the last of my kale, planted a year ago and grown to 7ft stalks.... wet and windy here as per norm these days, hopeless for getting outside, so stuck inside trying to sort out my finances instead - messy business and have been putting off for ages.
Liriodendron: say what you like. Chances are I wont be able to hear you!
Unfortunately hearing aids aren't going to be of any help for me as its all terribly complicated.
At least if I can master lip reading I will never have to worry about the shy child in the class who barely squeaks a whisper.
I'm going to try and find somewhere to learn sign language too: it'll be a handy tool for expanding what we can offer schools and visitors in the museum as well as a "useful" thing to know should things get worse.
Dove: a few years ago we had snow in South Yorkshire on May 23rd. I know because I spent my birthday in a blanket by the fire shivering!
Clari, you'll be fine with me, I'm pretty adept at signing, I said....
watched garden challenge WITH OH last night, there's hope yet!
catching up on Chelsea now, watched yesterday's now on this afternoons, mind boggling how many shows there are at different times and which are repeats etc.
Just dug bramble roots out of the tree trunk left from 'fallen big tree', hope to plant up perhaps with small alpines
