Had a lovely time in London with two of OH's oldest friends. They all had a good catch up. Been back a while, catching up on Strictly and X Factor! Right winner in X Factor and a good final four in the dancing
Kef, happy I hope, or fond memories at least x *hugs*
Good morning all Right, the run up to Christmas really starts today in this house - Sainsbugs to be emptied, tree to be dressed, presents to be wrapped - those are the missions for today, in that order.
KEF - I'm such a Dean Martin fan - one of the things I miss most about going to work is singing along to How do you like your eggs in the morning? as I drove along the riverside and up through Mousehold Common in the morning.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Off to Tunbridge Wells today to get my 3 last pressies. Wish we still had Woolworths, does anyone know where I can get a clothes brush! Thats one of the things thats been requested! (Yesterday!) Could they not have asked me weeks ago lol!
Thanks nut, I found it.
Dove, my OH likes 'little ole wine drinker me' ----I wonder why
Panda have a good day, take care.
Kef, they give us lovely memories, and no matter how old we get they are still our mum and dad. Hugs xx
Music does fire off the emotions. There were bits that my father used to hum loudly, I called them "Daddy's hums", they make me feel emotional when I hear them. Funny how even when children are grown up and middle aged they are still "children" to their parents.
We are going to see my "children" and 6 grandchildren this weekend. My son has rented gites in the farm next door to him south of Orleans.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
