    Afternoon image

    I've been up since the crack of dawn, promise  image

    Just back from looking at firstborn's wedding venue, it's not for another year and a bit, but these things take time to finance image

    Too wet to garden but I've got lots of reading to be getting on with...forgive me not tracking back over weekend events, did I miss any juicy gossip? image

    Sounds a plan Dove image been rained off here, but did go and fetch a mixed soil sample from different parts of the garden to do soil pH test. Just drying the soil and getting distilled water then I will have my answer! image Investigated pallet quality and quantity in the shed for a garden fence I'm planning, but Flatface was asleep in his shedbed and said I was disturbing him! image so I got guilted into h*********k image

    Hubby coming back from work now so time to get a fried egg butty and a coffee on! image 

    Oh heck!!!! Chucking a skyfull down now! image

    Just had a big field mushroom baked with blue cheese for lunch - luscious!!! 

    Now I shall continue to sort out the last bookcase - Wonky, make room for some gardening magazines and a few cookery books!!!   image

    Had to go to a Committee meeting this morning, now need to do my tax return, has to be posted by tomorrow. The French only give 3 weeks and I've been away about 12 days and had my garden open. Have I said all that before?image

    Hospital appointment went.... erm. In short the specialists advice is: find a class to learn to lip read image Good job the eye test shows my sight is fantastic.image 

    Lovely and sunny after this mornings heavy rain so I've rushed some washing out onto the line: how can two people create so much washing? Its not like I've even got massive granny pants that might fill the machine.

    We only get squirrels around here very rarely - usually around acorn time - but OH spotted one on the feeders this afternoon - when we go out he lurks at the top of the ash trees - we've brought the sunflower heart feeder in for a while - hopefully he'll give up and go away image
