he did it for the first two years we lived here and I  was left with the builders and starting out the garden.

Some days it was 7pm before I realised I'd not eaten all day.

tomorrow I'll be onto suppliers of topsoil regarding couch grass roots. GGRRR

Good luck with it Hosta - and I'm sure Dove will keep you some leftovers if you go off salad image

As long as  you're appreciated Yvie. It's  tiring entertaining little ones all day - even when you're 27 like me image

I wonder which plant will be the plant of the show at Chelsea?

I just missed you, Verdun, in the Camborne B&Q.I went with my daughter to buy a lawnmower there yesterday and when she got it home and set it up petrol poured out. She phoned the manager and he said he'd compensate her for the petrol and the travelling. When they looked at another mower it also had a hole under the petrol tank. the manager couldn't understand it. Perhaps it was some drainage system and had something missing. Well she asked if she could 10% off so she bought a more expensive one.

Perhaps if we'd seen Verdun there he could have got her an even better deal. image

Super day at BL's what a garden! Great to meet Matty too. image Went onto to see another garden nearby in same scheme, also lovely, 3 fish ponds!

Late afternoon picked up bacon & sausage order from local farm for B&B and on way home spotted a lovely shop (Vintage Collections) I have been following on the internet, didn't realise it was so close. Popped my head in to have a peek and the very welcoming owners insisted I have a glass of wine with them on the terrace, surely can only happen in France. image Got my eye on a fabulous wrought iron swinging seat now, just need to persuade OH we can't live without it. image

Hopefully pics will be ready to upload tomorrow of BL's garden.

Hosta I do hope you don't waste away all on your own all week. image

BL, enjoy a good rest, well done for today, super. image
