    Morning all.

Have your posts been removed iGrow, or someone else's?

Milder, but wet. Going to the supermarket.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Not mine but I have noticed in the past two days posts made by Mike Allen have been removed which do not fall within the reasons pointed out by Dove. One was about greenhouses and the other was in the book thread.
  • Morning,

Weather was a bit grey this morning but has brightened up now. image

Had a very stressful day yesterday, had to go to a meeting which I thought was only short & informal - absolute opposite, worst of it was I had to leave early to meet my Pilates friends & was so embarassed leaving - the walk to the door felt like a walk of shame. image I had forgotten my phone otherwise would have cancelled Pilates, left it until absolute last minute so ended up driving like a mad thing to get to rendezvous - pouring with rain, windscreen wiper flicked off then I realised had forgotton my Plilates mat - oh the stress of it all. image

Anyway, new day, fresh start! image

Glad to see Punkdoc back, sorry about cold weather welcome though, bit of a shock to the system. image

Good luck with Uni Chicky, sure it won't be the first you get to look at, make sure you get to see some near a good garden or GC. image

Airport duty today, but it's near some big shops so going to get myself some walking socks and waterproof trousers & stock up on birdfood on way back. Doesn't take much to keep me happy. image

Good day to all, stay warm & safe, especially any American cousins! image

Due to rain and cold, have wimped out of gardening. Took a trip to GC instead, and bought stuff to make me think that Spring was coming: fertiliser, Vermiculite and seed compost. Got £5 off for spending more than £20.

Spring is here in Kent todayimage sorry for all you who have snow but its been a productive day in the garden pruning and planting and preparing a bed for major replanting.

Flynn the under-gardener learnt not to bark at the rake or the watering can and also worked on his helpful digging. Much less mud landed on his little feet and thus bath time was a happy occasion. We're in for the afternoon now, have a lot of training to do myself with the new tablet OH bought me yesterdayimage

Lucky you Wintersong, nice weather and new tabletimage

Not surprised you didn't get into the garden Pdoc, but you did manage to get bargains.

I've been supermarket shopping this morning and picked up a viburnum Eve Price in a 2L pot for £3 but when I got to the checkout it had been reduced to £2.  It's a lovely, healthy plant too with a gorgeous scentimage

Nice one LesleyK, I was looking at viburnums for my own garden, especially at this time of yearimage
