Good morning again Wonky! Come on, let's have a pic of the greenhouse even if there's not a video of the greenhouse wrestling (could this be a new olympic sport?)
Doesn't sound good Lizzie Lets hope for a speedy recovery for you, and help with dinner
Have a lovely walk Fairy, shame you needed to wear your vest (OH helped me with that one )
Wrightt, make sure you get just what you want....... these GC plants have been developing sticky labels Also, please take pics of new bed, would love to see it
Wonky, can't wait to see pics My iris are just large spikes at the moment, looking forward to the flowers though
Lesley, OH likes walking and the countryside, and looking at the garden (though not working in it ), so I reckon I'm pretty lucky really. Though I'm not sure how anyone can reach 69 without learning to recognise a forget-me-not...
Lizzie, hope the bronchitis treatment kicks in soon, and you feel better in time for the invading hoardes tomorrow!
Fidget, if you can get hold of a second-hand trowel (there are people who specialise in restoring old gardening equipment) you might find it stronger than a modern equivalent. I suppose old tools have stood the test of time (or if they haven't, they've already been thrown away... if you see what I mean ).
More weeding for me too. Where does all that hairy bitter cress come from?
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Spending money on the garden must be in the family at the moment - I've ordered my tiny little garden shed (hardly more than a cupboard really) http://www.greenfingers.com/product.asp?dept_id=200491&pf_id=DD9077D . Hopefully here in about 10 days
I'm going to paint it a couple of shades darker than the fence and fix some of these to the inside of the door http://www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/metal-tool-hook---1-pair-315786
Then I won't have to keep going through the studio into the garage to get my garden tools - well, not the ones I use every day anyway.

Catch you all later .....
Very nice Dove
Where are you going to put it? I will have to come and inspect once it's in place
Panda
It's going at the far end of the garden, between the compost heaps and the trellis fence - I think

I've just ruined another trowel. They either don't make them like they used to, or I don't know my own strength.
I might have to do a visit to a garden centre
Fidget, it's those muscles

Daughter, SIL and grandsons arrived before lunch. Since lunch grandsons have been messily washing garden furniture!
Afternoon all!
