True joe but i'm a bit of a country boy and cities/airports etc are all a bit crowded, but i love the big gardens. I try to get to Edinburgh botanical gardens at least once a year. Oh dear i do sound like a bit of a country hic don't i.
Bit of a lay in , but AGAIN awake at 4am - 6am. What is that all about?
Of the two, I prefer Edinburgh to Kew.
Kew seems to have become , like Wisley, a massive creche / picnic spot.
Hopefully I'll finish the labelling to-day.
Our cleaner is due at 11 and I like to leave her to it, so I've got no excuse to sit around the house.
OH says he should finish the job in Surrey on Sunday and be home Monday. 2 days earlier than expected. His clients have told him he's to join them for lunch Sat and Sun. How lovely is that?
Hello again, didn't manage to get back to bed, dog walk, dishwasher and washing machine loading and then the moment had passed.
Had a frustrating morning trying to sort out some French paperwork re. healthcare and school provision - could quite easily lose the will to live, everything seems to be in triplicate, they want information from years back - why I don't know, always one number or date evades me so of the 3 forms not one is quite complete.
Another frustration too, Amazon let me down on a delivery for Charlie's birthday party so now have to do a two hour round trip to get stuff I need from a shop in big town.
Definitely should have just gone back to bed.
Hope you all have a better day than me, think I deserve a coffee and a cake whilst in town, get your orders in folks.

Almost the weekend guys.
just had one of those annoying showers. Enough to make the grass too wet to cut and make rummaging among hostas to label them soggy.
Joe have you ever been to Dawyck botanical gardens or Kailzie gardens both near Peebles.
I know my place!
David you aren't a chatterbox like some of us but it's nice when you pop by and say hello, I liked your fork picture from yesterday.
I'm off to SM
Have a good day all.

Back from very gentle walk, no further damage done.
Saw a lovely site, about 40 Goldfinches feeding on a patch of thistle heads.
